ROI MARRU L. PABLO

Associate Lawyer

Atty. Roi was admitted to the Philippine Bar in 2021 and joined MPLaw in November 2023.  

  

Prior to obtaining his Juris Doctor degree, Atty. Pablo worked with several civil society organizations and advocated numerous policies relating to health, education, and government transparency. He also held several leadership positions during his stay in UP Diliman.  

 

Atty. Pablo received his Juris Doctor degree from the UP College of Law in 2020 and was the Chairperson of the Graduation Committee for his batch where he helped realize the first digital graduation ceremony for the UP College of Law amid the COVID-19 Pandemic. Atty. Pablo also graduated cum laude from UP Diliman with a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics and a minor degree in Philosophy. Atty. Pablo is a certified data privacy officer pursuant to his completion of the certificate course for data protection officers of the UP Open University.  

 

Prior to joining MPLaw, Atty. Pablo has been part of top law firms in the cities of Makati and San Juan where he primarily assisted in litigation, taxation, and corporate concerns. He also worked as a corporate lawyer and was later promoted to be the legal and corporate affairs head for the oldest and one of the biggest Filipino courier service providers in the country, JRS, which he helped become an Accredited Courier Service Provider of the Office of the Court Administrator of the Supreme Court pursuant to A.O. No. A-242-2020 and the 2019 Amended Rules of Court.   

  

He is specializing in real estate transactions and litigations.  He advises clients on the acquisition, sale, lease, and development of real properties, including contract drafting and review, due diligence, and coordination with government agencies for registration and titling.  He also maintains an active litigation practice in civil, criminal, and labor cases, representing clients before trial courts and quasi-judicial bodies.  His work includes handling disputes involving contracts, property, employment, and fraud-related offenses, as well as drafting pleadings, appearing in hearings, and providing strategic advice on cases and settlements.
